Airtech International Announces Major Expansion of Plant Facilities

Huntington Beach, CA – October 3, 2007: Airtech International Inc., a leader in the manufacturing of release films and related lamination assist materials for the worldwide PCB / FPC industry as well as materials for composite manufacturers in the aircraft / aerospace, marine, wind energy and general composites markets, announced the expansion of their USA facilities with the addition of a 140,000 sq. ft (13,000 sq. m.) distribution facility located in Chino, California. The expansion doubles Airtech’s plant facilities in California. This new warehousing and shipping facility has been added to improve efficiency and delivery schedules for Airtech’s customers around the globe. The new building opened on September 10th, 2007 and is now fully operational.

The addition of this new distribution facility also allows Airtech to increase their manufacturing and value added services at Airtech’s existing plant in Huntington Beach, California. According to Jeff Dahlgren, President of Airtech Advanced Materials Group, "The demands generated in all of the markets we serve both for new technologies as well as additional value added capabilities, combined with the growth we have experienced in each of our markets, has resulted in a greater need by our customers for these services. We feel our support to our customers is vitally important in helping them to meet both current and future needs. Our new distribution facility in Chino really solves two issues; better efficiency and service from a product distribution standpoint, and increased space at our existing Huntington Beach, California plant allowing a significant boost in manufacturing capacity. We have always tried to view ourselves as partners in our customers' businesses, so as they continue to grow, we will grow with them."
